I am a fully qualified "Accredited Mortgage Consultant" holding a Diploma For Mortgage Consultants (AAMC) and am a member of MFAA.
In addition I hold a Diploma of Financial Advising - Securities Institute of Australia (QLD Dux - 2002) and completed a TAFE course in Conveyancing (1994)
For at least the last 15 years I have been an active property investor owning / purchasing vacant land, established housing, building new houses, owner builder renovations and general residential property investment. (Self conveyancing all transactions)
I believe my qualifications and past experience are extremely relevant and beneficial in offering my clients the full range of bank and non-bank products in all residential, business and commercial arenas.

I have completed the Certificate of mortgage consultancy with the MFAA.
My role within barrett lending solutions is to ensure the smooth processing of your loan application.
This includes confirming with the chosen lender that they have received your application from us to acting as the conduit between the lender and you for any further requirements.
If the lender requires any additional information that we do not hold on file - I will be the one who calls you.
At barrett lending solutions we pride ourselves on our speed and quality of service and place a high emphasis on open communications.
Throughout various stages of the loan application and approval process I will call you to keep you up to date on how your loan is progressing.

Barrett Lending Solutions – Internal Disputes Resolution Service.
This IDR service is provided free of charge to you.
We at Barrett Lending Solutions believe that it is essential for our customers to be able to identify and deal with a broker who has the ability, authority and proper training to hear and respond appropriately to any complaints or disputes. We are a member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) and as such we are also subject to the requirement to have in place an Internal Dispute Resolution procedure.Receiving complaints
You can lodge complaints by contacting Glen Barrett, the Complaints Officer by:

Or, by speaking to any representative of our business who will refer you to the Complaints Officer.
You should explain the details of your complaint as clearly as you can. You may do this verbally or in writing.
When we receive a complaint, we will attempt to resolve it promptly. We hope that in this way we will stop any unnecessary and inappropriate escalation of minor complaints.
We will observe the following principles in handling your complaint:
1. there is no requirement for face-to-face contact between you and us, although it may be useful for us to come to a satisfactory resolution;
2. we expect that both parties will make a genuine attempt to resolve a complaint promptly;
3. we expect that both parties will provide all essential and relevant information, documents, written statements and any other materials that may properly and reasonably be believed to assist in resolving the complaint;
4. we expect that both parties will comply with all reasonable requests from the other party to provide information within a reasonable time frame.

If we do not reach agreement on your complaint, you may refer the complaint to an ASIC Approved External Dispute Resolution (EDR) Scheme. Our external dispute resolution provider is COSL (Credit Ombudsmen Services Limited) phone 1800 138 422, www.cosl.com.au
External dispute resolution is a free service established to provide you with an independent mechanism to resolve specific complaints.
